Cabin Air Filter Replacement

The cabin air filter sits in the HVAC intake path and filters the air that comes through the vents, trapping dust, pollen, and other airborne particles before they reach the interior. Over time this filter loads up with debris and restricts airflow, which is usually the reason vents seem weaker than they used to be.

This replacement filter uses a pleated design that maximizes surface area within the housing dimensions, giving more filtering capacity than a flat pad filter of the same physical size. The pleats are supported by a frame that holds their shape rather than collapsing under airflow pressure.

It's built as a direct-fit replacement sized to common factory filter housings, so installation is generally a matter of accessing the housing — often behind the glovebox — removing the old filter, and sliding the new one in, without needing tools in most vehicles.
